It is located in Golbasi which is one of the new counties of Ankara. Mogan Lake has been formed by the water accumulation behind an alluvium set. The lake of which the depth is shallow covers an area of 2.5 square meters. It is 15 km to Ankara. Most part of the lake dries in summer. The water of the lake is light salty and available for water sports and fishing. There are many cafes and restaurants around it.
