
It consists of town, village and streets which are connected to the County center, excluding the center connected to the County.
Elmadag which is located at the upper Sakarya section of the Central Anatolia is an ancient residential area which is settled at the 41 km east of Ankara Northeast hillside of Elmadag Mountain from which it has taken its name. Its altitude from the sea is 1135 m and has a very rough topography but its west is partly smooth. The eroded hills and ridges are located over the plateau which is cut by the deep valleys from each side. Elmadag has 1862 m altitude at its southwest and has 1995 m Idris Mountain as mass. Kargali Stream which flows thoroughly the County and joins in Kizilirmak at the south has an irregular regime supplied by the snow and rain waters.
